Practicing mindfulness in school can empower students to feel more confident,
safe, and calm by positively influencing attitude, stress, behavior,
focus, emotions, and learning.

Wynne Kinder teamed up with GoNoodle in 2014 to create the mindfulness brain breaks called FLOW.

FLOW is designed as a “jumping off” point for mindfulness practice. While FLOW does not represent the entirety of mindfulness practice, it serves as a way to guide students in short, repeatable mindfulness exercises without need for prior experience.

Building on the popularity of FLOW, Wynne created with GoNoodle, Think About It a mindful-intention-setting series.

Next, Wynne helped to expand the Maximo series to include mindful movement.

Wynne is now working with GoNoodle to enhance the Blazer Fresh channel with social-emotional learning that will guide students and teachers in learning and practicing these critical skills for health and well-being.

Teachers can create a mindful culture within their classrooms by integrating these GoNoodle brain breaks within the more expanded mindfulness curriculum now being offered by Wellness Works in Schools.  Wynne is excited to connect these specific brain breaks to the activities within each lesson, giving teachers easy access to the tools they need.
